EolPop is a decision-support tool with an informative purpose. It aims to provide an objective assessment of the demographic consequences of additive mortalities, particularly those caused by collisions with wind turbines, on bird or bat populations. The results provided are derived from a demographic simulation model. The use of multiple complementary sources of information, as well as the advice of qualified professionals, is considered essential in the final decision-making process.
The MAPE project team, the CEFE, and all individuals involved in the development of the EolPop tool cannot be held responsible for any direct or indirect consequences related to the use, interpretation, and/or application of the results generated by this tool. In accordance with Article 9.3 of the CeCILL license and Article 11 of the GNU GPL v2 license, the tool is provided “as is,” without any warranty, express or implied, including, but not limited to, warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
